The Graveyard Madman is easy and not a thread, and will not need any special animations. You can then attack them normally though they “explode” when they die, if their fuses are out, it's only an animation and won't hurt your party. (That's a good thing, because if they were, your team would be dead.) From there, you can cast Rain on them, which extinguishes their fuses and prevents them from exploding. Two of the Exploskeletons appear near the party, and will likely not be caught up in the chain reaction. If you can strike a bomber near the Madman with fire or a ranged attack, you'll cause a chain reaction that will kill just about everyone, as well as give your computer massive slowdown from all the fire and debris! This looks much more intimidating than it is. All of them will attack you, but you'll have the first turn. A character named Graveyard Madman will start talking to you, then he'll summon a score of Exploskeletons. ![]() Your non-Source Hunters cannot send items this way, but they can always give an item to a Source Hunter to have it transported.Īfter taking a turn, you'll descend a short staircase to a large clearing. Simply right-click the item from your inventory, then choose “Send to Homestead.” It will immediately teleport itself to the trunk of the sender, and only the sender can even open the trunk. You can teleport an item wherever and whenever you want into those trunks from then on. Only their names are locked in you can change anything else if you want to give them a total makeover.Įven better, each bed features a trunk. The left room features a mirror that you can look at with either Source Hunter to change their appearance, voice, AI personality, and even gender. These bedrooms are your two Source Hunters' personal rooms. To the left and right of where the demon spoke to you, you can climb steps to find two large, open-air bedrooms. Beyond him, you'll find a small garden with a few plants for a crafter. The Inner Chamber features a demon with some cryptic information, but he's completely peaceful. You'll find your new portal, which leads to the Inner Chamber. After he gets done blathering, go down the hall, then turn left as you reach the Weaver of Time. Teleport to the End of Time, and you'll speak to Zixzax. Once he dies, if you go a little past him, you'll activate a Waypoint Portal as well as find and activate another Star Stone.īecause you activated the Waypoint Portal just a few feet away, there's no reason to avoid exploring your new Homestead expansion. As you did with other fiery enemies, keep a Rain spell active, and use water-based attacks to put him down quickly. You'll fight him by himself, and you should easily be able to handle him. The best way to do it is to keep one frozen using Jahan's magic if you don't have the spells yourself. No matter how the fight progresses, you'll want to try to keep at least one minor enemy alive during the entire fight. If the minor enemies get in your way, feel free to take them out, but try to use area attacks if you can, so you hit the Twins in the process. Prioritize your attacks against the Twins itself. ![]() Ice Shard is especially useful, causing significant damage and possibly applying the Chilled status ailment to slow him down. The Twins is weak against all water-based attacks and spells. It won't apply the Weak status ailment to the Twins, but it will help out when he inevitably attacks with fire, thus helping you defend yourself against getting burned. If it's not already raining, you'll definitely want to cast the spell. The larger monster is named The Twins-by-Fire-Joined, and he's backed up by several minor Charred-Bone enemies. Neither will talk to you you'll just start the battle. Two large targets are in the northeast edge of the fiery area. There is one important battle in this area. This significantly lowers their hit points and damage, so all battles should be much simpler. In battle, you can cast Rain not only to make the ground easier to walk around on, but it applies the Weak status ailment to all fire-based creatures who get wet. However, note that you cannot extinguish the lava ground, which often lines the rocks that form your path. Cast it even if you're out of battle to remove as much of the ground fire as you can. The entire fiery area is dangerous without the Rain spell.
